RCNI Ulster Championship - Round 5 inc RCCAOI R3

With 5 of 6 rounds completed we have some 2025 Champions!

Graeme Nelson takes the top spot for 2025 in 4wd Modified while his coach and mentor Chris Bamber takes both the 2wd & 4wd Clubman titles, adding to his 8th E-Buggy championship from 2024. Chris wanted us to make sure we pointed out how much he enjoyed and appreciated battling all season with Joey Holden, Joey finished a very strong P2 overall but was also scoring points in the Irish National Clubman Series in which he claimed 100pts and is officially an Irish Champion, well done Joey!

** This battle started towards the end of UMCC's Indoor Touring Car Series, made it's way to Dublin Model Car Club's HUDY Series, reignited during the N.I.O.R.C and finished up with us at RCNI...

Commander in Chief Bradley Baird looks set to retain his 2024 8th Nitro title and if he's feelin' it, could bring out his Irish Championship winning Mugen MSB1 for the final round - where a strong finish could elevate him to the top step of the 2wd modified podium.

Speaking of Bradley and his Irish Championship run, having already sealed the 2wd title for the year, the 4wd race was literally down to the wire between himself and Dylan McBurney. Taking TQ but letting nerves get to him a little in A1, Brad dropped the first leg to Dylan but was able to bounce back in A2 & 3 with double wins and securing himself the Irish National 4wd title also!

In 8th E - the race is very much on between Kieron and Jason for the final 100pts, a result that would tie both drivers on 399 and we'll have to go to countback to decide the winner!
