Meet the people helping run RCNI, organise race days, maintain the facilities, support members and keep the club moving forward.

Club Management Committee

RCNI is managed by a volunteer committee made up of club members who give their time to help organise events, maintain the track, support racers and make decisions in the best interests of the club.

Oversees the running of the club, chairs meetings, supports decision-making and helps guide the future direction of RCNI.

RCNI is run by volunteers. Every race day, improvement and club project relies on people giving up their own time to help the club grow.

What The Committee Does

The committee works behind the scenes to keep RCNI organised, safe, welcoming and moving in the right direction.

Race Days

Planning events, race bookings, race control, track preparation and helping meetings run smoothly.

Club Safety

Supporting safe club activity, rule compliance, child protection, BRCA expectations and member welfare.

Track Maintenance

Coordinating track work, repairs, facility improvements and keeping The Dirt and The Astro race ready.

Members

Helping new and existing members, answering questions and keeping everyone updated with club news.

Finances

Managing club income, costs, membership money, race fees and investment back into the club.

Future Growth

Looking at ways to grow the club, improve facilities, attract newcomers and support RC racing in Northern Ireland.

Committee Responsibilities

Committee members are expected to act in the best interests of the club, support safe racing, follow club rules and help maintain RCNI as a positive space for members, visitors and families.

Club constitution

RCNI’s constitution states that the club is managed by a Management Committee consisting of the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Ground Coordinator roles, with general committee members able to be appointed to support club projects and jobs.
